Why Should You Protect Wetlands?

Wetlands are an integral part of the natural ecosystem as they reduce the risk of flooding and storm damage besides regulating water levels. Wetlands include swamps, marshes, and bogs.

They area valued in terms of their ecological, economic, and social contributions as they create habitat for fish, wildlife, and other countless number of species.

Wetlands and preserve areas have been seriously impacted by development. So, the conservation of biodiversity, preservation of ecological balance, and betterment of human life of the region can be taken care of to a great extent by protecting wetlands.

Keep Exotic Vegetation Under Control

Some of the exotic and non-native plants in your farm could be invasive, compete with native plants, and alter natural communities. You can rely on the ecological experts at Superior Waterway Services to identify those species and control their expansion or even restore them in some cases.

The wooded areas remaining or added after development or situated around water are called buffer zones. These zones help keep natural pests in check, provides habitat for wildlife, and enhances the livability of your area. You can take our help to conserve the buffer zone in your property.
