Water clarification requires the right equipment and techniques. Choose Superior Waterway Services for all your water clarification needs. With our specialized equipment and application techniques, we can reduce turbidity levels quickly and excess water can be released to avoid site flooding.
This allows for maximum production no matter what the weather condition is like.
Many factors contribute towards depleting the clarity and quality of water and they are noxious weeds, exotic plants, and algae. They have been known to deplete oxygen and restrict the flow of water, wetlands, and waterways.
Another factor that has caused the depletion of wetlands is extensive land development. Federal and state legislation has been enacted to encourage the preservation of Florida's wetlands, where property owners and developers have to restore a certain portion of developed land to natural wetlands.
In a newly dug well or pond, the water can tend to be murky, rather than clear. This is due to the muddy or silty particles that are located in the water. If you leave water untreated, the clearing of the water can take anywhere from a couple of days in the sandy area to several months in case of clay substrates.
First we test the water in our lab. We test the density and purity of the water and check which part of the lake or pond has the most concentration. Following this, we apply the appropriate material and allow the water to mix with it, using special pump equipment and injectors mounted on our spray boats.
You will be able to see results on the next day. However if your lake does not need any major clarity, we can add some of our dye and improve the water color.
An alternative would be to use Floc Logs. They are a group of semi-hydrated anionic polyacrylamide blended logs that when placed in the flow of turbid water removes the particles, reduces turbidity, metals, and inanimate nutrient values.
Each Floc Log is formulated in accordance with the soil and water chemistry of the specific site where the placement and usage is intended.
